It is essential that your item be packaged well and labeled correctly. It will insure a smooth trade with undamaged games.
There are several ways to package your items. If you choose to ship USPS First Class Mail, you will need to use your own packaging. Here are some tips:
- Use a sturdy box. A damaged one can easily become more damaged.
- Use bubble wrap or some other packing material, like packing peanuts. This will protect your item even further.
- Secure the box well. Use packaging tape. Scotch tape breaks easily and does not have the durability of packaging tape.
If you choose to ship via USPS Priority Mail, you can use their boxes for free. They are available at any USPS Post Office or you can order them online for FREE.
USPS Priority Mail Shipping Supplies
The small priority mail box (Item No: O-1096S), otherwise known as a DVD or VHS box, is the perfect size for a game or two with some bubble wrap. Remember, you can order these online shipped to your home for FREE.
While these boxes are pretty sturdy, please use some packaging tape to secure them.
The USPS also has shipping labels available that can also be ordered for free or found at your local Post Office.
Priority Mail Shipping Labels
When addressing your label or box, make sure you put a return address (your address) in the upper left corner of the label or box. Place the recipients address in the middle of the label. Make sure that you have addressed it correctly and that you have included the zip code. Missing information on the shipping label can delay your item, or in worse case scenarios, be sent back to you as undeliverable.
You can also print and pay for shipping via Priority Mail via the USPS website.
